noodz ramen kit
What are Noodz Ramen Kits?
They're base kits for making yourself a ramen in no time. They contain a portion of dried ramen noodles (air-dried, not fried!) and concentrated broth (yes, it's not a powder!).
How do I make them?
Bring a pot of unsalted water to the boil and pour 350 ml of it into your bowl. Cook the noodles for 5 minutes in the remaining water, separating them only towards the end. Meanwhile, pour the concentrated broth into the bowl of boiling water; drain the noodles and add them to the broth. Your ramen is ready! And don't worry: the steps are on the back of the box to guide you. For more tips, have a look at the Recipes section of the site.
How many servings is a Ramen Kit?
A Ramen Kit is a single serving, but a generous one (:
Do Noodz Ramen Kits contain flavourings or preservatives?
We don't add monosodium glutamate or artificial flavourings for taste: the flavour comes from quality ingredients and yeast extracts.
To keep it fresh we use a protective atmosphere (instead of oxygen, the pack is filled with an inert gas) and a Mediterranean herb extract that you'll find on the label as «natural flavouring», but which we use only as an antioxidant.
How long do they keep?
You'll find the expiry date on the pack: it applies to the whole kit, and it's set by the concentrated broth. The noodles on their own would last much longer.
If you're unsure about a kit you've got in the cupboard, write to us at mail(at)noodz.it: we'll get back to you.
Are Noodz Ramen Kits vegan?
Not all of them. Shoyusen is, and more are coming soon!
What kind of noodles are in the Ramen Kits?
Ramen noodles made to the Japanese recipe and method, but made in Noodz.. The flour is certified as coming only from Emilian wheat, the salt is Italian, the water purified, and the balance of kansui is the result of dozens of trials. We even developed our own machines so they'd be real noodles, not tagliatelle! (;
Do Noodz Ramen Kits contain allergens?
Yes. You'll find them written on the label, including those that aren't present but that we use in other products.
packaging and product development
Where are your products made?
In our factory in Reggio Emilia! We make noodles, concentrated broths and spice mixes in-house, even the graphics and labels! It's the only way we can avoid the compromises we'd have been forced into by relying on outside suppliers.
Where do the ingredients come from?
We choose our suppliers carefully and, believe us, it hasn't been easy. Whenever we can, we source as close to home as possible, but some we just couldn't find nearby. Of the Ramen Kit ingredients, many are Italian, almost all come from within Europe, and one from Japan.
Is the packaging recyclable?
We do everything we can to make it so, but some materials needed to preserve the product can't be yet, like the silver broth sachet. You'll find the environmental label, with the materials and how to recycle them, on the pack of every product.
orders
How can I track my order?
In your account area! As soon as it's shipped we'll also send you the tracking number, so you can follow your parcel all the way to your door.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit, debit and prepaid cards (Visa, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB, UnionPay), PagoBANCOMAT, Google Pay, PayPal, Satispay and cash on delivery, on request. All the details are on the Payments page.
How do you protect my payment details?
Your card details never pass through us and we don't store them. You enter them on the secure payment pages of Shopify and of the payment providers (Nexi XPay for cards, PayPal, Satispay): they handle them, on their own systems, with their own security standards and data encryption. We only receive the outcome of the payment, never the card number.
If you pay with PayPal or Satispay, you confirm the payment directly on their website or in their app.
My order had a pre-order item and some in-stock ones. Can they all be shipped together?
Yes, in that case we'll get in touch to ask how you'd prefer them shipped.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
We don't have much time to change or cancel an order before it ships. Write to us as soon as you can at mail(at)noodz.it and we'll do everything we can to help.
I have other questions about my order!

shipping
Where do you ship to?
For now, Italy only (excluding San Marino and Vatican City).
When do you ship?
If you order by 12 noon on a working day, your parcel leaves the same day: the courier comes by around 2.30 pm. After 12, it leaves the next working day.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We ship with FedEx. The parcel usually arrives within 24 hours of leaving us; the islands and smaller islands need a few more days. Couriers don't deliver on Saturdays or public holidays. When the parcel leaves we'll email you a link to track it. All the details are on the Shipping page.
What should I do when my order arrives?
We use reliable couriers, but the unexpected can always happen, so:
1. check that the parcel is intact, with no obvious damage or signs of tampering
2. if it's damaged, sign the receipt adding a note saying “accepted subject to inspection” and a short description of the damage
3. tell us what happened at mail(at)noodz.it, adding a few photos that clearly show the damage. We'll sort it out as soon as possible.
My parcel has been lost, stolen or damaged!
Let us know by writing to mail(at)noodz.it: we'll look into it and make sure you get your noodz in one piece ASAP.

Can I return an order?
Yes, as long as you send it back within 14 days of receiving it. But careful: the products mustn't be opened or damaged.
Can I exchange something?
Yes, if you haven't broken the product seals and the packs aren't damaged. Bear in mind that the shipping costs for the return and for the new delivery will be on you.
Are there any costs for returns?
You only pay for the return shipping, i.e. from your home to Noodz.
How long will my refund take?
14 working days at most, and we do our best to make it much sooner.

Where do the reviews you show come from?
On the home page we show a selection of reviews chosen by us: they come from Amazon (verified purchases only) and from Trustpilot, plus a message from a B2B customer. We quote them word for word; when we cut part of a sentence we mark it with […].
All the reviews, including the ones we don't show, are public on Amazon and Trustpilot.
